ARB passes new ZEV amendment
Environmental Standards for Hydrogen Production
Pursuant
to Senate Bill (SB) 1505 (Statues of 2006), the California Air
Resources Board (ARB) is to develop regulations for the production of
hydrogen as a transportation fuel. The regulations will
encompass standards for renewable energy, criteria pollutants
and greenhouse gases.
Incentive
Program for Alternative Fuels
Pursuant
to Assembly Bill (AB) 1811, the California Air Resources
Board (ARB) is to develop a joint plan with the California
Energy Commission (CEC) to spend $25 million for the
purposes of incentivizing the use and production of
alternative fuels including zero emission fuels.
